Sunrise » 12-08-2005
Sometimes, along with the hustle and bustle of doing what we do here, it’s a relaxing comfort to work from an area that inspires peace of mind and creativity. It is what culitvates the atmosphere that encourages us to be the best at what we do.
For example, I wake up at between 5:oo and 5:30am most days, head to the gym, and get back around 7:15am. Just around 7:30am, I’m usually ready to hop into an epsom salts bath to sooth the pains of the coming day and past workout… and whilst running the bath, I like to take in the morning sunrise that occurs directly out my front window.
On the morning of December 8th, 2005, it was a particularily cold morning, but the sky seemed mostly clear. It was still fairly dark when I left the gym, but as I got ready to hop into my bath, draped only in a towel - I was treated to and gazed upon one of the most spectacular sunrises I’ve ever seen…
While trying not to deaden it with too much thought and just experience its beauty, I HAD to take a picture of its progression.
So, here it is… what you’re seeing in the first few images IS NOT the sun - but its relection off of ice crystals in the air - the sun is actually behind the cloud at the bottom. In the third and fourth images, you can start to see the emergence of the actual sun.
Breathtaking.
I love my job, and where I live.
